The Atlian Empire is a micronation, which unites two sovereign states under one crown: The Kingdom of Atlia and the Kingdom of the Southern Star; as well as a Free Associated State, the Community of Nisea. Its capital is the Capital District of Atlium (Kingdom of Atlia) located in Tamaulipas, Mexico; The Empire has a presence in Mexico, the United States, Canada, the coast of Australia (Kingdom of the Southern Star) and some ceremonial territories in Antarctica (Kingdom of the Southern Star, Imperial Atlian Antarctic Territory).

Founded by S.I & R.A. Prince Regent Luis Marcel of Atlia on 7 September, 2022.

Although Atlia meets the four essential requirements of a state according to article 1 of the 1933 Montevideo Convention (defined territory, government, capacity to enter into relations with other states and permanent population), that is without counting the first sentence of its article 3 "The political existence of the state is independent of recognition by the other states"; Atlia is not an internationally recognized state and from the imperial government itself, that is not an aim at all. The micronational aspect of Atlia is maintained as a balance between the seriousness in which we seek to operate and the creativity of its leaders and communities, creating a cohesion based on the history achieved by our micronation up to this point.

Atlia is a community of people with similar ideas, who share interest in cultural, social, audiovisual and ecological activities; with the goal of carrying them out and supporting the community with them. In recent years, Atlia has focused its efforts on promoting micronational diplomatic and cultural development beyond simply signing international treaties, and according to its five-year plan 2023 - 2028, it will redouble efforts in the ecological area starting in 2025.
