Woultenland - 01/OCT/2021

On 23 / SEP / 2021, the representative of the then president of the CMLOE, the Republic of Aswington, announced through the organization's Twitter group that he would be unwilling to maintain his duties in office due to internet problems, delegating his responsibilities to the vice president of the organization, the Republic of Hoso.

In view of Hoso's low online activity, the CMLOE board decided to call elections for the organization's presidency, requesting interested members to register to announce their candidacy. Announcing that on 27/SEP/2021 they would receive these applications all day.

The list as of SEP / 28/2021 had three final candidates:

  • Kingdom of Atlia

  • Kingdom of Dragonia

  • Republic of Woultenland

With the list determined, 29/SEP/2021 was announced as the day for the candidates to publish their campaigns, and the next day the elections for the presidency would be held.

After a day of campaigning within the CMLOE chat on Twitter, and another day for members to cast their vote, today (01 / OCT / 2021) the CMLOE Twitter account announced the final results:

Atlia received 1 vote, Dragonia 2, while Woultenland was declared the winner with 4 votes in his favor.

The candidates and members of the CMLOE were quick to offer their congratulations.

What to expect from CMLOE under Woultenland's leadership?

In its campaign proposals, the Republic of Woultenland showed interest in a re-activation of the organization, focusing all its proposals within it; contrasting with those of Atlia and Dragonia, who proposed a balance between the reactivation of the organization balanced with a greater openness to other micronational sectors.

Woultenland's proposals are as follows:

  1. Strengthen the CMLOE application process.

  2. Reestablish the weekly newsletters, now monthly, which will inform the community with the most relevant information from the CMLOE and the partner micronations.

  3. Bimonthly zoom meetings to address issues of micronational interest

  4. Run common interest campaigns more frequently.

At the time of publication of this article, neither the Woultenland government nor its representative have given any comment.
