Nova Atlium - 11/AUG/25
Â
Following an expedition by Prince Luis Marcel to a Mexican post office about fourteen kilometers away from Nova Atlium, the collection of flags, banknotes, and other memorabilia arrived intact in Atlia's second capital; three years and two months after the signing of the Treaty of Chausalantique, which founded the Chausalantique Museum Network and granted Atlia a portion of the collection that Misberia's museums used to house prior to its final dissolution by the end of 2021 as the Confederation of the Northern Coast.
Â
BACKGROUND
Following the seemingly permanent dissolution of any successor states to Misberia, Archie Birch called upon his closest friends within micronationalism, who, seeking to maintain the great legacy that Misberia left within the micronational community, founded the Chausalantique Museum Network within the Treaty of Chausalantique; which would be based on the items donated by Birch to each of the Treaty signatories: the Kingdom of Atlia, the North Sea Empire, and the Federation of Adonia. The items to be received by each nation would be a variety of flags, banknotes, coins, postcards, scout badges, and other items relevant to each nation and its leaders.
The first package to be sent was to the North Sea Empire a few months after the treaty was signed, with the hope that the museum items could soon be shipped to Atlia. Due to logistical and personal issues arised in both Birch and Prince Luis Marcel, the package could not be sent until mid-July 2025, arriving at a Correos de México warehouse on 29/JUL/25, and not yet being delivered by 11/AUG/25.

POSTAL EXPEDITION
The Prince Regent embarked on an expedition to a Correos de México post office about fourteen kilometers from Nova Atlium to see firsthand what was happening with the delivery of the package, using the Monterrey Metropolitan Area's public transportation system.
The problem stemmed from deficiencies inherent in the Mexican postal system, in this case, the failure of several of its delivery trucks. Without much difficulty, Mexican Post Office employees helped Prince Luis receive the package without much incident.
During the expedition, the Prince was given several stamps from the People's Republic of China, which were added to the Museum of Atlia's philatelic collection. A report of the expedition was published in a Year of Exploration group sponsored by the Republic of Obscurium.

THE MISBERIAN COLLECTION
The Misberian Collection, a founding part of the Museum of Micronational Artifacts, is composed of a wide variety of flags of various sizes, both from UN-recognized macronations and extinct micronations; as well as, to a lesser extent, a small international numismatic collection and Misberian postage stamps.

The grand event of the arrival of the Misberian Collection to Atlia will be marked by the opening exhibition of the Museum of Micronational Artifacts to the Atlian population, planned to take place on a weekend before the end of the month.
Attendance, whether in person or virtually, by any Misberian representative has not yet been confirmed.
