Antonia dissolves, territories are incorporated into Misberia

Halcyon City - 03/FEB/2021

With a heavy heart I announce We have lost the battle to keep Antonia alive. The Antonian Empire shall cease to exist as a nation at 01:00GMT on Wednesday 3rd February, the year of our Lord 2021, and shall cede all of its lands to the Misberian Confederacy, per the 2nd Constitution. -Anthony Birch, ex-emperor of Antonia

Yesterday (02 / FEB / 2021) in the afternoon, the then Emperor of Antonia, Anthony Birch, announced through the Discord server that the Antonian Empire would be dissolved for the next day, thus, transferring to Misberia the administration of the territory that made up to Antonia.

The Bobwhite Gazette describes that Antonia will be an integral part of Misberia and is free to regain her independence if she so wishes, Halcyon City will become the third capital of Misberia, and the Confederation of Misberia will be officially renamed the Misberia-Antonian Confederation as well as other details that detail a respectful and widely beneficial annexation for both parties.

An exception in the annexation made by Misberia was a province, which became part of the new Commune of Antonia in the People's Republic of Adonia.

At the moment, the Kingdom of Atlia has not made an official statement. However, he is working with the Confederation of Misberia on how to solve the problems that the disappearance of Antonia pose for the Atlium-Halcyon Treaty, on the condominium of the Kingdom of the South Star.

The measures that the Vespucci Zone will implement according to the situation are still unknown, since Antonia's Representative, Anthony Birch, is the President of the Parliament of this.

The Empire of Antonia leaves a wonderful, but short, legacy in the micronational community, one of its greatest achievements to date being the drafting of the Halcyon Convention, which defined and delimited the concepts of micronational disputes and fights; as well as criticizing the use of the term "war" in a micronational context.
