With love, from Obscurium: Atlia receives a surprise package from Obscurium

Today, 06/FEB/22, Atlia made another holiday official: the Atlia-Obscurium Friendship Day, to be celebrated every 13 January. The reason? A surprise gift between heads of state.

Background

On 13/JAN/2022, a package arrived at the Princes' Residence in Nova Atlium from the United Republic of Obscurium. Said package was addressed to the Prince-Regent, coming from the President of Obscurium, Zar Antonov.

Inside it were a variety of gifts that came as a pleasant surprise to Prince Luis: A large flag and several hand flags of Atlia, an Obscurian hand flag, two Obscurium coat of arms pins, Prince Luis's Knighthood of the Most Illustrious Order of the Sleeping Dragon, as well as with his certificate signed by Mr. Antonov; two postcards, a personal letter and a small green plastic dragon named Augusto.

Prince Luis and President Antonov maintain constant communication and have a good friendship, which is reflected in both nations; Atlia's Mutual Recognition Treaty with Obscurium is one of the oldest of the former, and for years, Obscurium has been invited to conduct a cultural exchange with Atlia, the development of which is not yet well known.

The great flag will be flown at the Royal Residence in Atlium as soon as the princes make a trip to the eastern capital, being a promise made by Prince Luis to President Antonov.

In the words of the Prince-Regent:

"...we are in a great debt with you and it is my commitment to repay you in the same heartwarming way in the name of the Kingdom and myself".
