Obscurium becomes a member state of the Atlian Empire

On this merry day, we welcome our Obscurian friends to this most glorious Empire as part of a series of very very serious negotiation talks were their membership will provide the strategic force of Dragons to deliver mail, as Atlia will seek to help Mr. Antonov in the hunt of the Chupacabras- Prince-Regent Luis Marcel

The day has come, after years of friendship, cooperation and a bit of negotiation, Obscurium and Atlia are part of a single nation; the United Republic of Obscurium as of today is accepted within the Empire as a Member State, becoming the fourth state to be part of the Empire. His Imperial and Royal Majesty, King Geronimo II has said about it: "Oh good."

Background

Atlia and Obscurium have been very friendly nations for years. Since the times of the distant year of 2019; Obscurium has been up to now, the oldest diplomatic partner with a current bilateral relationship, and both nations have made from exchanges to cultural; Obscurium even gave the Kingdom of Atlia its first physical flag!

The Annexation

After several private meetings between the Prince-Regent and the Obscurian President, the resolution was reached that the best course to take would be for Obscurium to join Atlia as a member state. The decision stems from President Antonov's desire to continue the search for the elusive Chupacabra, while the Atlia delegation looks forward to having Obscurium's postal dragons under their stewardship, some of which will be reassigned to the Imperial Atlian Postal Service.
