City of Nisea - 13/ABR/2023
In just a few months we will have completed our first anniversary as an independent micronation, and I have nothing left to say, these 300 days attest that Nisea will not go backwards, but as our banner every day, it stands at the top while we sing the lyrics of our anthem, Long Live Nisea!- Prime minister Augusto Izard, at the closing of his third government report.
300 days after its foundation, the Autonomous Reformed Hispanic Community of Nisea presents its first results report to the intermicronational community. The broadcast took place from the Nisean government YouTube channel.
What was discussed in the report?
At the beginning of the transmission, the Parliament bell was rung by the Prime Minister of Nisea, Augusto Izard, immediately afterwards he addressed the Duke of Nisea, the parliament delegates, and the people of Nisea; and he began by remarking the honor of being able to constantly present his progress and render an account to the people.
The Prime Minister continued to reiterate the reasons why he temporarily suspended the activities of parliament, declaring that its inactivity was hindering the legislative process and that it had the approval of his ministers, as well as the duke, as long as the action was temporary and only urgent laws would be passed. He ended the topic by announcing that Parliament is back in office.
Internal matters
The annexation of the Community of Nisea to the Empire of Atlia as a Free Associated State happened; the Prime Minister stressed that the annexation to the empire, as a sovereign state, is in terms of "coexistence, cooperation, exchange and mutual benefit." The officialization of the annexation occurred on 1/APR/2023 with the raising of the flags of the empire in the public buildings of Nisea.
2 April is proposed as the Day of Friendship with the Atlian Empire to commemorate the historic event.
It is mentioned again that the activities of the parliament were suspended for the efficient transition and incorporation of Nisea into the Empire.
Cultural and external matters
The second paragraph of the first article of the Act of Friendship and Cooperation between the Kingdom of Atlia and Nisea became effective, with the delivery of musical and lyrical arrangements of the Royal Anthem of Atlia.
Diplomatic work began with the Republic of Woultenland, initiating the planning of a cultural exchange to take place throughout this year.
The Sistema de Radio y Televisión de Nisea (Nisean Radio and Television System) extemporaneously opened the broadcast of the Heraldo de Nisea (Nisean Herald) as a monthly newspaper on micronationalism in the country, with its first edition to be published in May.
The subtraction of Catalan as the official language of Nisea was approved, in order to further promote it as an added language, since it is spoken in the south of Navarre. Likewise, Toki Pona is added as an added language.
Research into the Basque-Navarre culture has been deepened, expanding events on the calendar in order to disseminate the Hispanicity of Niseans from the Iberian region.
Economic matters
The Nisean National Bank began to design the first bank notes for the Nisean drachmas that will be acquired, based on the value of the nation's silver coffers. To this day, the Nisean drachma is worth 100g of pure silver.
