The Longhorn International Community takes place

Less than a week after being announced to the world, the Longhorn International Summit begins at 7:00 PM CST.

The Prince-Regent was 25 minutes late, therefore CTAVA will report from this point of the summit. The attendees at this moment were:

• Dominion of British North America - Connor Shaw

• Grand Order of Dane Republic - Dane Bozzoli

• The Republic of The Sonhland - Ethan

• Kingdom of Atlia - Luis Marcel

• Apolan Queendom - Zanti M.

• Haramboi - Spectator

The issue of professionalism in the micronational community was brought up for dialogue; Premier Andrew "Valeriy" began with his opinion of the situation in the community, highlighting the difference between "professionals" and "simulationists", and how the latter cause many problems for those who treat this hobby seriously.

Dignitary Connor Shaw continued to speak, criticizing the use of Twitter and Microwiki accounts as personal blogs by micronationalists treating their micronations as themselves. Queen Zanti was the next to add to what both people said earlier, giving her personal perspective. President Connor McLean, commented on the similarities of many simulationists: of exaggerating the numbers of the army and the power they possess; being a terrible representation of our community. He also adds the "flashy" prizes that are awarded without any merit, bringing medals from other places that have nothing to do with micronationalism, being extremely egotistical.

Dignitary Shaw of the Dominion of British North America wanted to comment on something again, but he had technical problems, which were quickly fixed. He adds that he will leave the summit prematurely, due to lack of time.

With his departure, Premier Andrew begins by commenting that there are two more issues to talk about. The state of the micronational community being the first of these. He commented on all the community drama and toxicity, as well as the recent controversial case of Cascadia's Titania Smith and her 9/11 comments. President McLean commented on his experience with Ms. Smith and how the UNAR was close to establishing relationships with Cascadia prior to these comments.

The Premier of Adonia changed the subject to micronational organizations, and the YAMOS, with criticisms of these, although gave the attendees the chance get their opinion on the topic. President McLean began by commenting that its a "mixed bag" for him; with the bad aspects being the brevity of their existence and the great downside being oversaturation and competition between one another; the positive being the power to draw nations together, as is the case with regional organizations.

Valeriy adds to the positives in how much it helps a micronation grow, although being a very repeated and worn-out idea. The Prince-Regent of Atlia added his experiences in YAMOS and how the positives and negatives exist, with the positives being that new micronations meet other micronationalists and the community, with the downside being that they require dedication and interest to work. Queen Zanti went on to say that they are not well organized; a simple arrangement could make it work, but many give up and choose not to continue.

Premier "Valeriy" commented on the GUM, as he admires its structure, but considers its members as "full of themselves". The Supreme Overlord of the GODR, Dane Bozzoli continues and agrees with what has been said, Bozzoli comments on how sexual predators have been detected and dealt with thanks to the YAMOS. The Supreme Leader of The Sonhland, Ethan of Sonhland went on and spoke with his experiences alike.

Valeriy comments on the great aspirations that some create, but that are unrealistic; he believes there must be a purpose, a goal, smaller goals, and dedication to it; which Ethan of The Sonhland had previously commented on. "This is the hobby of egoism", mentioned The Premier of Adonia with respect to the YAMOS and the attitude of some members of those; even commenting on his plan to create a YAMO himself.

Thus, the time given to establish treaties with other nations began, and several members commented on their willingness to establish diplomacy with other states.
