The Geronia-Atlia Cultural Exchange Treaty, signed on 29/FEB/2024, is the latest in a series of actions that the imperial government has carried out in terms of cultural cooperation with other nations. The frequency and duration of the effects of this and the other two events initiated previously, the Cultural Year of the Dragon and the Cultural Exchange with Angosvria, have resulted in the Prince-Regent calling 2024 an “Annus Culturalis” or “Cultural Year".
THOUGHTS BY THE PRINCE-REGENT
Since the creation of the Atlian Empire almost a year and a half ago, the imperial government has seen a constant increase in our external as well as internal activity, which reached an all-time low prior to July 2022, when the creation of the empire was announced. Every year since then Atlia has had the opportunity to prove to itself, as well as the nations of the world, that slow, more stable progress, with premeditated actions and policies, is a key to the success of a micronation.

CULTURAL YEAR OF THE DRAGON 2024
After the event on 11/FEB/2024, in which some of the participants made several spellings of the word “dragon” in traditional Chinese and texts alluding to the Chinese New Year, they have agreed to exchange the works among themselves randomly.
In the month of March, Atlia's Moonrise Cinema will have dragon film screenings, showing films featuring dragons characterized outside of their usual narrative use of antagonists or villains. Likewise, it is planned to start a reading club for the book Eragon by Christopher Paolini in the coming weeks.
CULTURAL EXCHANGE WITH ANGOSVRIA
Last 20/FEB/2024, the Atlian Empire signed a Cultural Exchange and Cooperation Agreement with the Southern Confederation of Angosvria. The Agreement follows Angosvria's initiative to cooperate even more with the Atlian Empire, both being good diplomatic partners; The Imperial Throne reveals through this article that greater cooperation with Angosvria was noted on the government's agenda for this year; The fact that Angosvria was the party that initiated the dialogue towards greater cultural cooperation was, what the Prince-Regent considers, “a fortuitous coincidence.” At the time of publication of this article, both nations continue to exchange ideas to organize the first concrete project under the current agreement between them.
CULTURAL EXCHANGE WITH GERONIA
Just nine days after the entry into force of the Agreement between Angosvria and Atlia, representatives of Geronia proposed to the imperial government a Treaty of Cultural Exchange between Geronia and Atlia, which includes greater exposure of the creation and development of cultural and academic matter. The first project, and the only one specified in the treaty, is the display of the culture page on the website of the Atlian imperial government on the page of the National Library of Geronia, as well as the link to the latter on the culture page from Atlia; This with the aim of showcasing these cultural spaces among visitors to both pages.
In a case similar to the state of cultural cooperation with Angosvria, Atlia and Geronia are discussing possible activities to be carried out within the term of the treaty, which is one year.
